You can watch the video on Post Malone talking about Elden Ring here:Even if Post Malone seems to have an infatuation and hatred for the music featured in Elden Ring D2R Ladder Items, he went on to mention that some of the greatest music he's ever heard is in another video games. He specifically mentioned titles such as Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda, and Mario Bros. as just one of his favorites. So while the Elden Ring score might be somewhat overwhelming for him to manage in certain instances, it does sound like he's not one to switch off the soundtrack in games for too long.
What are your thoughts about the music that is featured in Elden Ring? Do you agree with Post Malone that it only adds stress to boss battles? Square Enix claims HD-2D is Actually Pretty ExpensiveOver the last few years, the company's HD-2D games have garnered plenty of attention from gamers. Some titles like Octopath Traveler as well as Triangle Strategy have really captured the interest of retro fans partly because of their distinct style of artwork.
In a recent interview with 4Gamer (translated by Nintendo Everything), Triangle Strategy producer Tomoya Asano talked about the visual style, as well as how it's implemented in future games by the company. When the interviewer expressed surprise by the fact that more indie games had not been able to replicate the style, Asano revealed the reason that it's quite expensive!
"It's definitely worth noting that it costs more than you'd imagine. In this regard, it's very compatible with the titles want out of Square Enix. It's unlikely that there's much to gain from copying other companies," Asano told 4gamer Diablo II Resurrected Items. Fortunately the cost of this won't deter Square Enix from releasing more games that are similar to this.
